Experience Summary
I have taught school for over thirty years, including several years as working in a Random House Reading Lab while working as a Teacher's Aide. I am a published author,have worked a few years as a highest-paid stringer for the Kodiak Mirror as their religious writer, and have taught students from kindergarten through ninth grade. Also I have substituted in high school. I can teach all subjects in primary grades, and Language Arts in higher grades.
Teaching Style
I have been described as a shotgun teacher, tossing information both above and below level to each student, so that those overachievers may always be challenged, and those who are struggling may without embarrassment pick up missed information. I am considered quite capable in the area of discovering basic learning blocks that have been missed. I use games and fun activities whenever possible, since the human mind retains best that which it enjoys.
