Experience Summary
I received a B.S. Degree in Education with a teaching certificate in English-Communication, at the secondary level.
I am also qualified to instruct younger children. My graduate work focused on elementary students.My experience with young children, was learning to identify reading disabilities, administering standardized reading tests, to assess the instructional and readiness levels of individual students.
I have taught in a wide array of classroom settings and as a private tutor.
Teaching Style
I strive to encourage open discussions, and small group activities so students can move around the room, but only as it relates to the task at hand. I enjoy watching their enthusiasm when I give a "fun" learning activity. I am pleasant, very patient and lively!
