Experience Summary
I am an Adjunct Faculty member in the Criminal Justice Department at Troy University in Augusta, Georgia. I instruct non-traditional students via classroom setting and distance learning,using Blackboard. It is imperative that I employ appropriate guidelines to ensure student success.I teach material from approved curriculum and develop quarterly lesson plans while using various training aids. I am a formally trained military instructor with more than 17 years experience.
Teaching Style
I come from a family of public school teachers and military nstructors. I have had much success with children and adults, both elementary and secondary levels. My teaching style depends on student need. Students learn in various ways -- by reading, by hands-on, by model, or with visual aids. I utilize them all, starting with the one easiest for the student.
