Experience Summary
I graduated with my BS in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno College of Education. I completed my internship as a Read and Succeed Elementary Reading Tutor in Washoe County. That experience gave me the skills I needed to help develop confidence in reading, improve reading skills and comprehension, promote and initiate thought, understand cause and effect, and make predictions.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and working with children in a one-on-one setting. I am qualified to help your child succeed. I am patient, fun, adaptable, flexible, friendly and easy going. I believe that all children have the right to learn in their own way. I can help instill confidence in children as they grow and develop and reach their potential. I provide age and developmentally appropriate learning practices for children in a way that is easy to understand.
