Experience Summary
I have my BS in Elementary Education with minors in Science and Social Studies. I completed my student teaching requirements in inner city Milwaukee. I then was hired right out of college to teach 5th grade in Arizona which I did for two years. I then transferred to third grade and began my masters program in reading. I have an anticipated graduation in May of 2010. I hvae tutored students all three years in various subjects.
Teaching Style
I do enjoy working with students and seeing them strive to excellence. I am patient and will work with students to help scaffold them to higher learning. I believe that there are several different ways to teach students and knowing which way will help benefit your child. I will use thier prior knowledge to help them understand concepts that prove difficult to them.
