Experience Summary
I can promise you three things if hired; I will never be late, I will never no show, and I will be the hardest worker you have ever employed. I strive to be a person of integrity, and I am nothing if not loyal.
Though I have not worked as professional tutor, I have time and again found myself instructing and assisting fellow students and family members in various subjects; particularly history.
I am a goal oriented person. I was 15 years old on my first day of college. I received an AS emphasis in Japanese from Utah Valley University. I graduated with a BA in International Business from Vanguard University. I am currently in the midst of my final semester of my MFA in producing at Chapman University.
Teaching Style
I believe in a life long pursuit of knowledge; a belief I have tried to impart to everyone I come in contact with. I believe in teaching my students HOW to think, not WHAT to think. Our future depends on our creating a generation that is capable forming their own opinions and arguments; a generation capable of wrestling with tough questions and arriving at well thought out conclusions. I would love to claim that I came up with philosophy on my own; but I must admit, it is a philosophy I adopted from two of the most influential educators in my life, my parents.
