Experience Summary
I am a current graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and minor in Chemistry. I graduate Cum Laude with a 3.3 GPA. Throughout my college career, I provided study and tutor sessions for the student-athletes at my institution.
I have taken several math courses including Probability and Statistics, Abstract Algebra, Topology and Analysis. The chemistry courses I have taken are Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Data Analysis, Advanced Synthesis Laboratory and Advanced Organic Chemistry. I was also a MAGEC-STEM and Georgia Hope scholar. I previously worked with one of my professor as a research assistant on several projects.
My career plans are to help develop programs and conduct research that improves the area of health and sciences. I am interested in using my math and chemistry background towards research. I would also like to serve as a mentor to the upcoming generation on the benefits and enjoyment of the sciences.
This position will provide me with teaching experience and a possible career opportunity. I hope to use this experience as I continue my education to attend Graduate school. I am confident that the experience and knowledge I gain will allow me to be more successful.
I work well as a team member; I am very reliable and organized, and willing to learn.
Teaching Style
I love working with children to help better their education. I have worked with children as yound as two years old to develop speech and early education skills. I am available to help your child find academic sucess and confidence. I believe learning is best through hands on experiences and repetition. I strive to help others succeed in math and science.
