Experience Summary
Throughout my career as an academic administrator with Rutgers University my life has revolved around education. I firmly believe a well rounded, sound education is the best gift a child or young adult can be given. In addition to my administrative responsibilities I also served as a PTL with the university in both the Education and Psychology Departments.
The most rewarding position I held within the university was that of Tutorial Coordinator where I was responsible for hiring tutors and supervising all tutoring sessions that took place for our students.
Additionally, I received a Reading Endorsement while attaining my Master's Degree which qualifies me to teach reading at the elementary level.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is one of encouragement, interaction and reward. I find this style of teaching to be much more effective than giving instructions and talking "at" students. Making learning fun leads to increased interest and greater retention of skills for students of every level.
