Experience Summary
I have an associates degree and a bachelor's degree. My bachelor's degree is in Psychology with a minor in Social Science. I have worked for the Alabama public school system as a teacher's aide in special edcuation for the last seven years. I am currently working towards obtaining my master's degree in education. I have learned different ways in which to help students who struggle in reading fluently, reading decoding, and reading comprehension.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and working with students from all types of academic and cultural backgrounds. My desire is to help each child succeed to the best of his or her ability. I also desire to instill self confidence in each student. I believe that each child has potential and can learn. I feel that my easygoing personality allows the student to feel comfortable in my presence and willing to try his or her best. I encourage each student to always do his or her best.
