Experience Summary
Over the past three years, I have had the wonderful opportunity to tutor a wide variety of students on a part-time basis. I enjoy the challenge of transmitting information in a way that is both accessible and edifying. This experience, combined with a world-class education from Mercer University, enables me to engage students on a level not typically found with other tutors.
Teaching Style
My teaching style reflects the environment of a college classroom. Lessons are centered around unrestricted discussion of topic and formal lecturing. The most central part of my style , however, is guiding the student to realize the answer for themselves. Not only is this method more conducive to learning, it is an indispensable tool for boosting confidence.
