Experience Summary
I was a mid-west Ivy League graduate, and I was very much driven to achieve a level of excellence in education. I have three engineering degrees, and I became interested in teaching when I taught part time at Houston Community College. I earned a Master of Science in Chemical/Petroleum Engineering with a minor in Engineering Management and Logistics with two other engineering degrees. I continued my education when I returned to the mid-west, and I completed the teacher certification program in May 1997, and I have gained an understanding in many areas of math and science. I have been teaching full time since September 1997.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all children. I believe that any child can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success. I am patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best education possible. I am a firm believer in teaching through discovery and differentiated instruction by providing a constructivist approach to learning. I believe that every child can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. A few good educators can make a world of difference to a child's education. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
