Experience Summary
As a student at Arizona State University and during my 8 years of work experience, I enjoy mentoring and teaching my peers and subordinates. While I have no professional tutoring experience, many of my friends and coworkers come to me with questions on their homework or problems at work. I have been told that I have a very good way of explaining and teaching. I have a strong motivation to work with children and young adults as I feel like it is such a great age to help give direction.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is very patient and creative. I believe that children, teenagers and young adults have their own unique way of thinking and learning. I am very intuitive and understanding in what type of person someone is and which approah would be best with that person. I think that getting to the level of the student and building on what they are already familiar is the best way to create a lasting understanding of a subject.
