Experience Summary
As a seasoned professional published journalist and published essayist, I am not only an avid reader, but also an expert writer. And while my writing conveys the high-level journalism and professionalism of newspapers, my writing also incorporates the creative flair of magazines. In this capacity, I served as an assistant editor and am an award-winning writer. From editorials and short stories to local news and investigative pieces, I have covered many facets of writing.
Teaching Style
For the past four years, I have volunteered at a youth center for underpriviled children in cosmopolitan Palm Beach. The experience has taught me to be patient and clear when teaching. I try to lead the child to the answer using the Socratic Method. At the same time, I enhance the child's study skills and motivation towards homework, which in-turn boosts the child's self-esteem. Parents and children alike are satisfied.
