Experience Summary
I have always strived to excel in my education, and I want to eventually become a college chemistry professor. I have earned two bachelor degrees from St. Cloud State University, a BS in Biochemistry and a BS in Biology, which have allowed me to obtain a very large base of knowledge in both chemistry and biology. I excelled in Organic Chemistry in school, and performed Organic Chemistry research as an undergraduate. I also was a teaching assistant in college, and taught pre-lab lectures and assisted students with homework and labs. My specialties are basic chemistry and biology, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry.
Teaching Style
My goal is to provide information in small steps which eventually lead to the mastery of a subject. I include problem-solving and critical thinking in my teaching, since this will eventually lead to an independent student who really understands the subject. Even though my teaching style may remain the same, my goal is to accurately determine what learning style the student has.
