Teaching Style
After learning various teaching and learning styles at Indiana State University, I feel it is important to find each child’s unique learning style. After this is accomplished, I then apply the teaching styles that the student will learn best from. I enjoy using visuals and hands-on activities when working with a student. I am a kid at heart and I feel this is why I connect with children so easily. I feel this is equally important when working with children.
I have worked with children through a number of ways. I assist children in 4-H during the fair. I help the children in the horse and pony club by educating them on proper grooming and showing techniques. I also have volunteered my time to help with middle school cheerleading. I assist the girls before tryouts and educated them on proper cheerleading techniques.
