Experience Summary
I earned a Bachelors degree in English from Western Michigan University in 19997. I taught at the middle school and high school levels. My experience in the classroom has prepared me for other tasks such as tutoring outside the classroom. During my years of teaching I did provide tutoring services for students through the Urban League Organization.
Teaching Style
For as long as I can remember, I have loved working with children. I believe that every child is capable of learning when given the necessary tools and encouragement needed. I left the classroom in 2006; however, I do not want to completely give up teaching and for this reason, I think that tutoring is a great match for me.
