Experience Summary
As a graduate of The Kings College the professors taught me the value of working with children on an individual basis. They taught me that there are many different learning styles a student may have. This is what got me interested in the Title 1 Program. As a tutor in this program my focus was Reading and Math at the elementary level. My job was to help students with dificulties in reading and math to get up to the next grade level and beyond with confidence! I am happy to say that this is the most rewarding job there is!
As a member of The Professional Association of Innkeepers I have many years in Marketing, Communications and Business. I am prepared to help any high school student in these areas with great success!
Teaching Style
My strengths are in identifying a students weaknessess and giving them the tools needed to succeed. I provide the best that I have to give and know that the student will respond with his or her best as well. My goal is to achieve a level of motavation so that the student will be proud of his/her achievements in reading and math. I believe that each student learns at a different pace and I have the tools necessary as their tutor to help them achieve their stated goals. I feel it is a privilage to teach and to learn myself from the students!
