Experience Summary
As an Arizona State graduate, I have spent many years deeply focusing on English Literature. This has expanded my knowledge on the importance of in depth reading and writing. I have tutored both high school seniors and various levels of college students in English Literature and assisted them with their writings. I also have experience with creative writing and editing, during the time I spent as an intern for an online woman's magazine, Kalliope.
Teaching Style
I am passionate about Literature and writing and am therefore knowledgeable on the subjects. I am able to assist students in these fields, however, I do believe in the importance of guiding them in the right direction verses providing them with the answer. I like to help the already existing ideas that students posses, bloom into their own creative masterpiece, instead of continuously proving them with the standard, drone ideas.
