Experience Summary
I graduated from Clayton State University with an AA in English Lit and then went on to complete my BA at Georgia State University with major in English Lit and a minor in Psychology. I originally intended to become a teacher but ended up in the Real Estate Industry instead. Over the years, I have informally participated in home school activities & test administering for my cousin. I have a knack for teaching and a patience that lends itself to helping others.
I have also had to do extensive writing over the years for real estate, marketing, recruiting and other tasks. I have also had an article published on the Realtor Magazine website.
Teaching Style
I believe that patience is key to a child's learning experience. When I was in school, I had teachers that were mostly concerned with tearing through the curriculum. Many times there were some left behind in the process who did not firmly grasp the concepts being taught. In one-on-one tutoring and teaching there is an opportunity to re-learn the material in a different way so that a child who may not have gotten in class has another chance to learn the material. More importantly, I make a great effort to understand HOW a child learns and to tailor my style to his or hers.
