Experience Summary
I have taught, tutored and administered educational programs for over 15 years. These experiences included teaching 1st and 4th grade, tutoring grades 1-8, writing assistance for high school and university students, teaching ESL to youth and adult, GED prep for youth and adults, and managing two adult education programs.
I have also earned certification in special learning needs.
Teaching Style
I teach to the needs and style of the child. I understand that each child has a specific style of learning. I vary my teaching with visual, auditory, and multi-sensory aids. All of my teaching includes a great deal of patience and humor! I have had great success in each child I have tutored, whether this has involved understanding, grades, or self-esteem.
