Experience Summary
I am a well-versed business person, experienced in all facets of business, including (but not limited to): investments, accounting, finance, operating a business, tax preperation, etc. I have a great passion to pass along the education and information I was fortunate to recieve from my teachers, mentors and peer group to others, so that they may learn to make better decision regarding their careers and daily living matters. I have a Masters of Business Administration Degree and I am a designated Chartered Financial Analyst. In all of my career positions I have taught the concepts of finance, investments and other business subjects to associates, clients, interns and others needing such knowledge. I have instructed economic classes to middle school students through the Junior Achievement organization.
Teaching Style
I have a great desire to pass the knowledge I was so fortunate to receive from my teachers and mentors, to others so that they may learn how to make better decisions in their own lives. I believe the role of a teacher (tutor) is to motivate students to want to learn. From my own experience I believe students learn the best when they are motivated to learn by seeing the value and importance of the information presented to them. Everyone does not learn the same way, so I incorporate various learning styles until the student finally understands the concept being taught, which includes real world situations, visual, tactile and auditory methods in my teaching. I want others to have the information I was so fortunate to recieve from teachers who have made a difference in my life.
