Experience Summary

I have experience working with students grade level k-8. I specialize in working with learning disabled students in the areas of language arts and reading. I hold a bachelor's degree and I am also a licensed speech language pathology assistant. In addition, I have my Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid Certification and a clear TB test.
Teaching Style
I usually tutor one on one and in small groups. I work with a variety of students, grades k-8, some who have learning disabilities, some who have physical disabilities, and others who are academically behind. In all cases, I believe in positive reinforcement and keeping my students motivated and excited to learn. I also believe in building confidence in my students because wanting to learn is the first step towards a life of successful learning and growth. I am an effective teacher, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching the students and observing their progress.
