Experience Summary
As a graduate of the University of Saint Thomas, I have an English degree and am a few classes/credits short of a Business Administration degree. At Bethel University I pursued a Secondary Education teaching certificate. Seeing an opportunity to teach high school english in Texas, I pursued teaching and volunteer teaching while living and working in Texas. I have extensive experience in writing business letters, legal documents, and preparing and proofreading letters and documents in general on a day to day basis.
Teaching Style
I love to learn and help others do the same, whether it is helping a high school dropout pursue and finish their GED or teaching and mentoring children and young adults in volunteer settings; I love to teach, but more importantly, I enjoy trying to find the best way or creative ways to help others learn, understand and grow as people.
My teaching style would be described by others as friendly, firm and yet very creative but thorough.
