Experience Summary
As a recent graduate from the University of New Mexico. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Spanish and BS in Sociology, this two combined have allowed me to understand social sciences to a new level. As you can expect my grammatical skills have flourished due to the combination of my two degrees. I feel competent in the subjects of English, reading, and the social sciences. Through out the last five years, I have been a tutor at my University (CAPS), as well as some volunteer work for students in my High School.
Teaching Style
Through out my experience tutoring a diverse group of kids, I have learned to love and appreciate the art of teaching. It’s important to understand the many differences and backgrounds in every child, only then, we can begin to understand their special needs. I do believe everyone can learn given the opportunity, and resources needed to flourish to their maximum potential. I also believe that as an educator, you must challenge them to a superior level, strive for excellence. It is our job as educators to ignite the spark of knowledge; it is our job to encourage them to go far beyond of what it is expected of them
