Experience Summary
I graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in History, and spent some time overseas studying music. My BA in History made me into a strong writer and critical thinker. My experience overseas helped my improve my italian skills and also achieve an understanding about other cultures. It also made me understand the value of learning a new language and the challenges ESL speakers must face when attempting to learn English. I have tutored several students from many countries ESL, taught music, Italian, French, Reading and Grammar.
Teaching Style
Teaching children and adults is a very rewarding experience. I tailor my lessons to each person, taking under consideration their learning styles. I am very patient and take my time with each student. I like to praise and encourage each individual for their hard work.
