Experience Summary
I graduated from NAU where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. While studying for my degree I took many classes dealing with Early Childhood Curriculum, and also classes dealing with different teaching philosophies and methods. Additionally, I have taken extensive class work in classroom communication strategies. During the last two years I have tutored second and third graders in reading and language arts.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with all young children. I believe all children can learn but each child learns at a different pace. I look forward to helping your children become even better students. My philosophy is that children learn best through hands on experiences and not through just reading textbooks. If children are able to further their learning this way they will be very successful in school.
