Experience Summary
As an elementary school teacher that focuses on helping diverse populations, I have extensive experience. I have worked with English language learners, and have worked a great deal with students who have learning disabilities. I am a trained consultant with the Wright Group (in math), have TESA training, and currently exclusively teach math to four groups of fifth graders.
Teaching Style
My philosophy of education envisions learners that construct meaning by
engaging in various and authentic experiences that are provided within and outside of the classroom. In order to prepare them for future educational and vocational endeavors, students will explore a multidisciplinary elementary curriculum that utilizes their various learning styles. This exploration will occur within an educational environment that will be framed on high expectations for behavior as well as academic performance.
