Experience Summary
I enjoyed all four years of my teaching. I taught fourth, fifth and Physical Education. Prior to that I substituted for two years as well. During substituting for three school districts, I worked with kindergarten through twelfth grade and special education students. Tutoring and mentoring students are my specialty. Mathematics, reading and writing are the areas that I have tutored the most in.
Teaching Style
Positive reinforcement, motivation and encouragement are what I believe in. Finding the extra way to explain a task or principle is rather beneficial. Whether it is visual, hands on, auditory or applying to every day life, it just takes that special spark to light up a room. Seeing a child progress is quite remarkable!
