Experience Summary
As an Honors Graduate of Washington State University, Vancouver, I pursued my English degree with an emphasis on Educational Methods instruction. This enabled me to learn real-world educational fundamentals in building and presenting teaching materials. As a life-long writer, I have acquired extensive grammatical skills. I have also tutored such subjects as Cooking, Computer Support, and fundamentals in drawing.
Teaching Style
It almost goes without saying I love teaching. Few things warm the heart of a teacher than when a student has that "Ah-Ha!" moment as understanding dawns on him or her. I am patient, considerate, and always come prepared with more than one way to explain the solution to a difficulty. Above all, however, I try to show each student that learning is about growth and achievement in which they can take pride.
