Experience Summary
As a college graduate, I desire to constantly succeed at my efforts on a daily basis. I earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Social Counseling and BS in Behavioral Management, which has lead me into the helping profession. I also possess an AA degree in juvenile delinquency, which helps me deal with even the most difficult children of all ages. Due to the positions I have held, I needed to have extensive skills in writing and also math. I held a 3.3 and above while in college.
Teaching Style
I have always loved to work with children. My job while in college was teaching children at a learning center. I also have tutored several children throughout the years that were having difficulties in either math or English. I have a strong background in math and English, but also have experience in psychology, sociology, and science. I believe a child can achieve whatever they put their mind to, but some times they need a little push to achieve that. There is no need to get frustrated with a child during a learning process because they are during their best and it is our jobs as adults to guide them in the right direction.
