About Me

Experience Summary

Although I lack a Master’s Degree, I have been providing tutoring services for nearly 5 years now in subject matters ranging from the basic to the rigorous, mostly within the domains of mathematics and the sciences. More importantly, the quality of instruction that I offer my students is a source of pride that I take very seriously. As many of my students can attest, I believe that a student seeks additional help outside of the school system because he/she is looking for someone who can explain complex concepts in comprehensible, layman’s terms that the individual can relate too. I feel I have developed the ability to relay concepts and theories in a manner that students can readily understand.

Teaching Style

Motivation is an area that the majority of students who need a tutor typically require guidance in. Like I mentioned before, the best thing that a tutor can do to help kids who need motivation is to be a role model. If the students respect the teacher and the teacher strives on keep I the students engaged motivation will develop. For me, tutoring has always been about more than homework assistance. It’s about relating to students on a personal level and leaving them with effective study habits that will serve them throughout their academic careers and likely last a lifetime.
