Experience Summary
My electrical engineering degree was pretty much a math degree by default. In addition, I'm currently pursuing actuary certification. Actuaries are the statisticians in the insurance and finance world. I've been tutoring for 7 years, and have had many successes. One of my students earned a perfect 800 on the SAT math.
Teaching Style
If I could quit my day job and become a high school math teacher, that would be my dream come true. I truly enjoy tutoring. When I teach the kids, not only do I help them work through problems, but I also give them ideas of what will come, where they will need the current subject matter in future years, or even ideas that a particular topic is important (so they don't learn it just for the test).
