Experience Summary
While at Emory my diverse interests led me to study in many areas. I have a deep level of understanding and enthusiasm for math and science that I would love to share.
My formal tutoring experience includes spending a spring break helping inner-city middle school students at a small private school in Philadelphia and tutoring a young friend of the family in pre-algebra for part of a summer. My informal tutoring experience comes from helping my pre-med friends understand their physics and math homework over the last four years.
Teaching Style
I truly enjoy the challenge of helping others learn, and I get along well with children and adults of all ages. My priorities as a tutor are first to relate to my student, second to help them become interested in the material so that they want to learn it themselves, and third to aid them in their understanding of the subject.
