Experience Summary
I have been teaching at the post-secondary level for 3 years. Prior to that time I taught classes in Emergency Medical Technician and Cardio-pulmonary Life Support to military Doctors, nurses and medical techinicians. I have been able to develop a great rapport with my students and offer special one-on-one attention when needed to ensure the required knowledge is gained. I have assisted students with medical laboratory procedures requiring unique individual instruction.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and utilize several different types of styles to keep students interested and desirous of learning. I provide thought provoking questions which require more than a simple yes or no answer. I envoke lecture as little as required to get across the point, but prefer demonstration or class participation. I utilize small groups so that students learn to interact with others.
