Experience Summary
I am currently a substitute teacher specializing in math, science, history, English, and German with the company, 'Substitute Teachers Unlimited,' which employs me throughout the greater Phoenix area. I am also a professional actor, voiceover artist, actor/teacher, and yoga instructor! In high school, I took a great deal of Honors and AP classes, including assorted math classes, AP-German, AP-American Politics and Government, and AP-World Literature. I received my BFA in dramatic performance from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music, and I continued my more academic studies with a focus in computer science, taking such classes as physics, Statistics, HTML, C, and C++. Since 2000, I have worked with all age groups as an actor, teacher, and as a substitute teacher here in the valley, I have taught elementary, middle school, and high school students.
Teaching Style
I am very patient and understanding, and I take great pride in providing my students with various lesson plans to accommodate their various ways of learning. All students can achieve success, and I feel as if it is my obligation as a teacher and tutor to encourage my students to reach their highest potential.
