Experience Summary
I have earned two degrees, a master's in public health, and a bachelor's in health sciences, with an emphasis in school and community health. I have worked in research the past ten years, developing teams and training them to fruition. Additionally, I have served on a reading group in an under-privileged community, mentoring and tutoring elementary youth with their school work and life challenges.
Teaching Style
I am a team builder and have worked with youth for the past 15 years, teaching them how to get along and function successfully within a team environment. This experience has provided me with tools that I use to entice students with various ways to learn. It has been very useful to use reality to capture interest. Basic education is the key to a successful life. We know that college is not for everyone however, we know that in order to be a successful contributor in society one must have the basics.
