Experience Summary
I received my degree in Chemistry from Florida International University. From 1983-1989 I taught high school chemistry at El Salvador School (now Lincoln-Marti). Since January 2007, I have tutored all levels of math as well as some chemistry and physics at Sylvan Learning. I enjoy teaching and tutoring students of any academic level and believe I can make a difference.
Teaching Style
I try to be as friendly, patient, and helpful as possible. I like teaching and love to see students who have been demoralized more or less build up their confidence. At Sylvan I tutored a student that was failing HS Math making a D and going on to an F and brought her grade up to a B her name was Ariel Poliner. There were some other cases like that but too long to tell.
