Experience Summary
During my college career I completed four vigorous years at the prestigious University of San Diego, and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in two areas: International Business and Marketing. My business major is enhanced by the addition of two minors, one in Spanish and another in Accounting. Furthermore, I was involved the Student International Business Council organization, Alpha Delta Pi sorority, and was an active accounting tutor. The most memorable and life altering experiences in college was when I studied abroad in two exceptionally diverse countries: Madrid, Spain and Hong Kong, China. The lessons I gained from those experiences, both academically and individually, were immeasurable.
During college, I tutored students in Accounting. In High School, I taught two separate classes: one during school hours and another after school with through a separate program. I also taught students on an individual basis in Math, English, and occasionally Spanish.
Teaching Style
Working with students is a fulfilling experience for me because I enjoy teaching and guiding students to reach their full potential as an individual, as I have been doing it since high school. I am charismatic, energetic, and patient.
My goal is to facilitate their learning so they will take pleasure in and benefit from my direction. I believe that positive reinforcement is important to their success. My demeanor is affable and I want to provide each student with a variety of ways to study and learn concepts, so we can find what works for each person. I cater to each student’s needs. Growth and development are important while tutoring, and I believe I can help facilitate these attributes.
