Experience Summary
I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I am enrolled in a doctoral program currently to earn my Ed.D in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. I have a great amount of experience in research and writing and have been teaching at-risk youth for 2 years. Primarily, I teach all Social Studies classes. However, I am very comfortable tutoring and teaching English, Composition, and Science classes such as Biology, High School Genetics, and Anatomy.
Teaching Style
Every child and adult learns differently. It is imperative that adaptation to an individual's learning style is addressed. I truly believe that everyone can be successful academically. I want my students to learn within their own comfort zones. I strive to create as many avenues to learn as I can so that each student can be successful.
