Experience Summary
After earning a BA in Biology and Political Science I spent several years researching. I have been teaching biology at the high school level for the past 18 years and truly enjoy it. I am working on a master's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education at the University of Miami and curently I am teaching anatomy & physiology at a senior high school. In the last five years I have tutored many college level students in biology.
Teaching Style
I am an experienced teacher that knows that all children have a different learning style. I am very patient, understanding, and motivated. I aim to provide your child with the best education possible in order to reach their full potential. I am a firm believer that children learn "by doing", hence I am a hands-on teacher that teaches children to think analytically and apply the concepts learned. I believe I make a positive difference in the lives of my students because I am passionate about my subject matter and enjoy being in the classroom.
