Experience Summary
As a distinction student in music I conducted the senior school choir at the age of 13 having won gold medals for performance and composition since the age of 5. After graduating in teaching of Music I taught music to senior primary students in charge of all music productions at the school, with an A and B cast of 300 pupils.Also taught individual lessons in Writing, reading,composition and practical lesson to children and adults, always focussed on enjoying music as a priority.
Teaching Style
I feel it is very important to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment and to focus on the positive rather than the negative. I am patient, easy going and compassionate. My goal is to bring out the best in the student. Also to teach various skills that empower the student. As an example I taught a medical doctor how to play the piano. When he started he used to only use the left hand with the right hand behind his back - I explained to him that the left hand was having a conversation with the right hand-after many fun excercises, he got it and loved playing music. That is my goal- to love music in all its facets.
