Experience Summary
I have a good understanding of many different subjects, due to my ongoing search to learn new things. I have always loved learning, and I strive to share my love of learning with others. While in high school, I focused my studies on art and foreign language. I continued to study foreign language in college, as well as Biology and Philosophy. I have earned a BA in Anthropology, which has allowed me to study and understand many of the subjects in which I am interested. I also have extensive experience in writing essays, research papers, grant proposals, and laboratory reports. During my time in college, I have tutored fellow students in Anthropology/Archaeology, Biology, Philosophy, and Spanish.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is based on the idea that each person learns at their own pace, in their own style. It takes patience and creativity to find the ways that the individual is going to learn the best. Using the characteristics that I feel I possess, it is my ultimate goal to provide an individual with the tools that they need to learn and retain the subject matter of their studies. I believe that using my style of teaching can provide a successful learning experience for anyone. I believe that I can make a difference in someone's life just by taking the time to teach them what they want to know in a way that they are able to understand.
