Experience Summary
Over the years, I have tutored elementary school aged students up to adult students. With a double major in communications and management information systems, I have a broad knowledge of languages and business courses. My tutoring experience includes French, English, economics and social sciences. In corporate America, I have held various leadership roles such as business analyst, account manager, and realtor. While in these roles, I engaged in corporate training, authoring business documents, and holding presentations for clients on a regular basis. These experiences have honed my communication and interpersonal skills and are invaluable when tutoring.
Teaching Style
When teaching I employ various techniques. These include a thorough explanation of the concepts being taught, use of examples, and repetition of an exercise until it is grasped by the student. My personality style consists of patience, persistence, friendliness, and a genuine desire to see each student succeed. Through these methods, and connecting with each person in their own unique way, I have been able to able to produce consistent improvements in all my students' performances.
