Experience Summary
In eighteen [18] years of teaching, I have taught at-risk and gifted secondary and college students English and social science subjects. I am a prolific author, editor, and on-ground and online curriculum designer. I have earned scholarships from the Oxford University English Speaking Unuion Debate Society [ESU] and the James Madison Memorial Foundation. I am consistently rated, according to the IDEA Survey of Student Evlauations, among the top 10% of college instructors in America. I teach verbal test prep and study skills.
Teaching Style
I am student centered. I diagnose a students weaknesses and then improve them with positive reinforcement and practical, realistic test-taking strategies. I am very easy to talk to and compassionate but focused on helping a student do well in school and on standardized tests. Students love me!
