Experience Summary
I graduated from The Honors College at the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering (BSChE). The rigor of the engineering curriculum coupled with strong liberal arts and research experiences of The Honors College has provided me with both the technical skills and knowledge to effectively tutor, engage and inspire students. In addition, I have exercised my grammatical and writing skills as the news editor for the college newspaper during my freshman and sophomore years at Miami Dade College. I have been a student leader, and I place a high premium on a quality education.
Teaching Style
It is my philosophy that an effective tutor not only tutors but also inspires. I am patient and very intuitive. If I sense that a student is trying to mask a weakness in a particular area, I will make every effort to reinforce the concept or idea. I make it a point to identify and strengthen weak areas. I will make every effort to ensure that the student meets his or her goal. The only requirement of the student is a willingess to succeed.
