Experience Summary
I worked full time and attended school full time while earning my undergraduate degree in Public Affairs from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Purdue. I attended law school for a year at a private methodist college, Ohio Northern. I completed graduate work in Washignton, DC at the US Department of Agriculture Graduate School, at Ball State University, University of Toledo, and IU, Fort Wayne, Indiana. I traveled and settled in Las Vegas earning a teaching certificate in education from Sierra Nevada College, and 48 hours of graduate education classes from the Clark County School District. I love the education process. I have worked in federal, state and local governments and in the private sector. I am well traveled. I have tutored in English while teaching in Seoul, South Korea. I have taught third and eighth grades. I have guest taught in all grades. I have been a table leader and evaluator for tenth grade language arts examinations and I have taught driving for many years.
Teaching Style
I embrace Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences and I enjoy using hands on learning activities. I welcome the opportunity and the challenge of assisting your child in reaching their education goals. I know all students can learn.
