Experience Summary
Teaching and tutoring students for 10 years in grades 1-8 in the areas of reading, writing, math, social studies, civics and government, and Spanish has diversified my experience in educating all ages of children. With a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction, I have developed an extensive knowledge base on how to successfully impart skills to my students.
Teaching Style
I am a firm believer in differentiating instruction to meet the needs of each student. There is no one size fits all plan that will work for all children. My strengths include a foundational approach to learning, well-crafted lesson plans, and utilization of technology to enhance student interest. I feel my positivity, friendliness and dedication will result in academic achievement for all students I encounter.
