Experience Summary
As a student, I had the chance to participate in the Americorps program, where I developed and implemented programs for at-risk youth. My programs encompassed but were not limited to, ecology, animal husbandry, writing, reading, and the arts. Since then I have earned two bachelor's degrees, a BA in Education, and a BA in Elementary Education, with minors in communications and liberal arts.
Teaching Style
Teaching comes naturally to me; I believe that everyone has the potential to be successful, given the right opportunity. Persistence, mutual admiration, and effort are the qualities that I bring with me, and they are all that I ask of the students that I work with. My goal is to make learning less of a duty and more of a stimulating quest, so that I may leave my students with the inspiration to continue learning throughout their lives.
