Experience Summary
I have studied the sciences, namely Biology, in great depth over the past several years. I have a BS in Biology and an MS in Biology/Bioinformatics. I am half way finished with a second MS in Bioengineering and I am currently in the process of applying to a PhD program in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. I have worked as a tutor with students in Elementary, Junior High, Secondary, and Post-Secondary schools. I enjoy tutoring as it provides me with an opportunity to help students achieve short-term goals which will affect their long-term aspirations.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is based on repetition, patience and understanding. I believe that all students given the opportunity can excel academically. With each student or group of students I work with, my aim is to ensure that the student leaves each session more informed and prepared to succeed in their courses. Education is priceless and a life without it can prove to be lacking.
