Experience Summary
I graduated from New Mexico State University in December 2000. I have a New Mexico Teaching License in Mathematics, Agriculture and Science. I have taught 9-12 grade General Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Honors Geometry, Geometry and Business Math. I would stay every day for lunch and after school to tutor my students as well as their friends. Currently I help my friends' kids with math problems and stay home with my own 3 sons.
Teaching Style
I love mathematics and working with kids. I am very good at explaining very hard concepts and making them easy for my students. I run a very organized classroom. My expectations are always very clear. In my classroom I gave students a number of different ways that they could succeed by helping them use their strengths to learn math. I love the look on a student's face once they finally grasp a concept that they have been working hard to understand and it makes me feel like I make a difference when I am able to help them accomplish that.
